"Issue 2# of Shrouded Recordings has just been issued and is a step up on all fronts from Issue 1#. The magazine is staunchly rooted in the sweat and tears of grass roots DIY culture and within this context wears its passion and enthusiasm on its sleeve and as a badge of honour. The line of questioning of artists takes a slightly different 'pro-forma' tactic, but in doing so reveals the divergent ways in which featured acts approach their responses. The presentation of the magazine has forged its own crude style cut'n'paste / photo copied aesthetic which works perfectly for its focus on predominantly noise oriented spheres. A commendable little zine which will be interesting to see how it expands and evolves".
